Superb Philosophers
Triumph in League to Retain Title Sheepworrying and Dolphins share second slot
for now!
Following Philosophers League Triumph Sheepworrying's
match with Dolphins resulted in a win for Dolphins. Under league rules the
second and third sides on points difference, Sheepworrying and Dolphins, should
play off for second place. The two captains agreed that their first match next
season sould determine second place.
Sheepworrying win Grand
Prix
A potent display by Sheepworrying brought them triumph in
the last Grand Prix of the season. From the start they were never headed
winning by 11 points. Philosophers who went into the last round leading by one
point from Sheepworrying came third on the night. Lings were second.
Mark Labbatt does the
double
Mark Labbatt won the Singles and the Doubles. Well done
Mark. Martin White was runner up just two points behind with Pete Bailey
third.
In the doubles Mark won with RayGarshton with Ian Reeve
and Dave Lisk runners up. 24 people played.
